Spring begins....When?

I was walking along the beach, toes digging into the sand.....the sun is reflecting off the ripples of the water. I can feel the heat on my face, I feel.....content! I feel at peace! I see my husband walking towards me, I can see him reaching out to me. He is calling my name, I hear the "love" in his voice. Penny....Penny....Penny

Penny....wake up, we have to go to work!

I wake to a darkened room, the music is playing loud. Drew opens the curtains....AAAAGGGHHHH!!!

It's April 18th and it SNOWED! Again!!!!!

Is this not beautiful? Oh, but it is....in November! I'm so ready for Spring, whatever and whenever that is! We have received about 6" of fluffy white stuff in the last few days. We are supposed to see temps in the 50's over the next few days....does that mean Spring will be here? I'll believe it when I see it!

So here goes...
 
1. I hate the telephone, Drew and I just look at each other when it rings....who is going to pick it up!?
2. I hate to walk in the woods at dusk, it plays with my eyesight. I almost feel the time between day and light pulling at the sides of my eyes. I can handle the woods during the day and after it's completely dark.
3. I hate coffee (oh quit calling me names), I can't stand the smell or taste of it.
4. Just the mention of the word....lice....makes me itch for days, scratching and itching. Nope, never had them, kids have never had them....it's the thought. And yes, I'm itching right now!
5. My Father had a green thumb (he could grow anything and everything)
and I can't grow diddley squat! If it weren't for Drew watering the plants, they would be dried twigs.
6. I cannot quote cliches, quotes or sayings worth beans. I always get them wrong....Drew is used to it and just smiles....he doesn't correct me anymore!

Trees, Trees, Trees

I posted this sneak peek a little earlier but for some reason it kept asking for a password! So, here I am posting again.

I am in an ABRR with a group of incredible artists, I feel flattered that I was asked to join. These books are just unbelievably incredible! Anyhow, as a group we chose NOT to post whole pictures of our pages, to keep the suspense alive. We did however, just recently, chose to post the "Sneak Peeks" in our personal blog. So, here is what I've done in the "Trees" book!

This layout was created for Joyce's incredible Tree book, it's so beautiful, so full of texture.

A quick post

One of my co-workers is having a birthday tomorrow. I have taken to creating necklaces & earrings to celebrate. I'm just in the learning stage of jewelry making, working up to using a lot of found objects but thought I would show you one that I designed last night. Fairly easy but really pretty, it's all done in purples!
